This fascinating report was published early 2025.

Volunteers have pulled together an enormous amount of information on industry and trade on the Brecks rivers. They looked at navigation, bridges, staunches, mills, maltings and more, and it’s all been skilfully combined into a comprehensive and readable report. This was published early in January and is available on the Breckland Society website as a PDF to download (note that it is a large file, 55 MB). There is also a project archive on the same website.
