Brandon Orchard and Staunch display panels opened

Two Brandon display panels officially opened by the Mayor and Town keeper.

On a lovely sunny morning, 20 March 2025, we celebrated the two new interpretation panels in Brandon – at the Staunch and at the Orchard – with Councillor Phil Whitham, Mayor, and Town keeper Ali Barnes.

The Orchard panel is newly installed, and tells the story of this lovely green space, its ecology and history. Stories and images gathered by @OSBrecks volunteers from local people including Ali Barnes, Brandon town keeper.

Installed and commissioned by @BrandonTownCouncil supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Also supported by West Suffolk Council.

The Orchard panel is a legacy activity following on from the BFER projects.
