Tales from the River talk: memories of recreation in Brecks rivers and fen edge.

The talk outlined the Tales from the River project, and took a virtual trip along the three main rivers. I showed photos and told the stories of fun in, on or by the rivers and other waters of the Brecks and Fen Edge that the project has gathered: tales of swimming, fishing, boating, baptism and other activities. I also talked about the places people went for recreation and how these were also important for trade, transport and industry on the rivers.
